Pruning |
| |
In the winter, the grape vines rest. At the time, the vinegrower takes advantage of this "hibernation" period to begin the year's first work on the vines. The year's stems must be shortened to prepare the next year's harvest on entirely new growth, which will thus offer to the wine their full strength.
This is the pruning of the vines. |
