September brings the end of summer and with it the full ripeness of the grapes bursting with the sun's juices, ready for harvest. The wine-maker checks his crops, starting with the earliest so as to pick the fruit at its best.
Depending on the grape varietals, depending on the soil, he chooses the days that the fields that must be harvested. The grapes are brought to the winery where they are transferred into vats and casks to be transformed into wine. October and the harvest end is colored by a patchwork of reds and golden yellows of vineyard leaves.
In the November winds, the leaves are spread wide, and nature prepares for the winter calm. In the winery, however, the mysterious alchemy of wine is just beginning.
